Infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children are constantly growing and developing. And all the while, they're also outgrowing - clothes, interests and toys. When a toy is the appropriate age for a child, they get move benefit from playing with it. When it's not too advanced, they are able to better understand the toy and make the best use of it, even in imaginative, exploratory ways.
