HOW TO SHOP AND ORDER ONLINE
For a larger view of the Creativity Institute product or for more information on it, just click on the image or the text of that item. For every item, there will be a "BUY" button that adds the item to your shopping cart. At this time, you can also select the quantity you want. If a "VIEW" button is shown, this indicates that you must make certain decisions regarding product options.

Adding an item to your Creativity Institute shopping cart does not commit you to buying it. You can remove the item at any time before final checkout, or increase or reduce the quantity of the item. After you put something in your shopping basket, you can choose to place the order immediately or to continue shopping. You can put as many items as you want in your shopping basket. Be assured that you will never be billed for any purchase until you completely check out. To view your shopping cart at any time, click the "View or Edit Cart" link in the right column.Back to Top 

 When you are finished shopping and want to place your order, you can proceed to your Shopping Cart by clicking on the "Checkout" button in the right column. Always double check to insure that all the items selected, and ONLY these items, are present in your Shopping Cart at check out. To view your shopping cart at any time, click the "View or Edit Cart" link in the right column.

After you click the "Checkout" button, you can make sure everything you want is in your cart and all the quantities are correct.

The next step is to enter the Shipping and Billing Addresses. If the Shipping Address and Billing Address are different, unclick the button next to "Billing same as shipping" to view the Billing Address entry form.

Please make sure the Billing Address you enter is the same as the name and address where your credit card statement is sent.

After clicking "Next" button on this page, you will be on a page asking for any coupon codes or gift certificate numbers you might have. this page also has an optional place to check where you learned about our store. There is also an indication of the Shipping Method that will apply,

After clicking "Next" again, you will be able to enter you credit card information.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
For your convenience, The Creativity Institute will accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. You can also pay by Postal Money Order or Certified Check - please email us at info@creativityinstitute.com, and we will assist you. If you are paying by check or money order, we must receive it before we can ship. If you pay by personal check, we must wait until the check has cleared before we can ship your order. This clearing process usually takes a minimum of six (6) business days.

We also accept Purchase Orders from schools, medical centers, religious organizations and other approved organizations. Simply fax it to 504-456-2217 or call us at 312-330-2640 or 888-814-TOYS with any questions. 

Please note that The Creativity Institute uses the industry standard for Internet security, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 128-bit) encryption to secure your personal and credit card information during the checkout process. This encryption system is identical to that used by banks and is designed to make it impossible for anyone to read your information in transit.

COMPLETING YOUR ORDER
If you are ready to complete your order, click on "NEXT." This will total your order and prompt you to the next screen to verify your information and complete your order. Please make sure your Billing Address and Shipping Address are correct and that the contents of your shopping cart are correct also.

When you are ready, click the "Place your Order" button. Please click this button only once or duplicate charges might occur.

FAXING YOUR ORDER
If you are faxing your order, you can simply print the "Confirm your Order" page from the Checkout process, which will have your shipping and billing addresses and your credit card information.  Or you can put this information on a sheet of paper in another format.  Please add your phone number and email address when we will send the order confirmation and tracking information. If you are using a credit card, please provide your credit card information including:

1.Type of card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express)

2.. Your name as it appears on the card

3. Card number

4. Expiration date

5. CVV2 number (the last three digits of the number on the reverse of Visa, MasterCard and Discover Cards or the four digit number in the upper right of the front of your American Express card)

Make sure you are including your Billing address as it appears on your credit card statement and your Shipping address, if different.

We have partnered with Bongo International to fulfill our international orders. Bongo provides our international visitors with their own permanent US forwarding address for only 5.00 USD. Once you have completed your order, we will ship your items to Bongo's global distribution center for export to your country. Here's how it works:

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS
The Creativity Institute’s Return and Damage Replacement Policies only apply to the first leg of a shipment. If your package is being re-shipped to a second location, such as through an international freight forwarder, please have it checked before reshipping as we are not responsible for the condition when it arrives at the final destination.

International shipments are non-returnable.


ALASKA, HAWAII AND CANADA ORDERS

While some of our products can be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada, you will be asked to pay the additional shipping charges. These orders need to be placed by phone, as our shopping cart does not automatically calculate the extra shipping costs. You are also welcome to email and tell us the item(s) you're interested in, and we'll send you a total cost that includes shipping to your destination. Then you can either email, fax or phone in your payment information.

SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
At The Creativity Institute, we take great steps to provide the highest in customer service. Please note our Return and Cancellation Policies.

CANCELLATIONS
Because of the cost and unreliability of rerouting shipped orders, orders cannot be cancelled or re vised once placed. Once an order has been placed, please refer to our Return and Replacement Policies.  We are always accessible to discussorder status by phone at 888-814-TOYS, or you can email us atinfo@creativityinstitute.com.

REPLACEMENT POLICY

If an item arrives damaged or defective or if the wrong item is received, we must be notified within 14 days by phone at 888-814-TOYS or by email to info@creativityinstitute.com, and the damaged item will be replaced immediately at no additional cost. If a damaged part is easily replaceable,such as one of a set of blocks or an easel tray, a replacement part will be shipped immediately.

RETURN POLICY

In most cases, returns that do not involve damaged or defective items can be returned up to 30 days after delivery for a refund of the purchase price less original and return shipping and applicable restocking fees.

SOME MANUFACTURERS DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR REQUIRE A QUICKER NOTICE FOR RETURNS, BUT THIS WILL BE NOTED IN THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS.

Manufacturer restocking fees vary by manufacturer and can be 15-30% of the purchase price. Exceptions to his percentage are products shipped directly from Kid’s Adventure, who charges a flat $20 restocking fee. Exchanges for a different product from the same manufacturer will usually have the restocking fee waived.

If the return is due to error of The Creativity Institute, the cost of any shipping will be refunded.

 

We can only accept items for return or exchange that are determined by the manufacturer or The Creativity Institute to be in original, resalable condition. Any item returned washed, used, or stained is not eligible for refund. Please include all parts, packaging, and enclosures with your return. All refunds will be issued back to your credit card through once return processing is complete.

DO NOT RETURN ITEMS DIRECTLY TO THE CREATIVITY INSTITUTE, AS YOU MAY BE REQUESTED TO SEND THEM DIRECTLY TO THE MANUFACTURER WHO SHIPPED IT. Some returned merchandise may require a Return Authorization (RA) number. Insome cases, return labels will be sent to you or call tags issued, depending on individual manufacturer policies. Whether call tags areused or not will be at the discretion of the manufacturer and The Creativity Institute.

Shipping/handling and return shipping may not be refundable. The original shipping charges paid to the carrier cannot be refunded. Returns that initially had shipping charge included in the purchase price will have the amount of the shipping charge deducted from the credit.

UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESSES that result in the product being returned to the shipping origin will be handled the same as returns and have the necessary fees deducted from any returned amounts.

If an incorrect zip code is provided, the delivery service may impose a shipping penalty of approximately $11. When this happens as a result of incorrect information provided by the customer, the penalty fee will be charged to the buyer's account.

Refusal of a shipped and confirmed order may be liable for shipping charges and a restocking fee of up to 25% of the original purchase price and shipping charges.  Credits for returns received in worn condition or outside of original packaging are subject to the discretion of The Creativity Institute and the original manufacturer.

As is universal retail policy: "Opened" CDs, Cassettes, and Videos may not be returned. Of course, faulty videos or CDs will be replaced.

Shipping/handling and return shipping fees may not be refundable. Returns that initially qualified for free shipping will have the amount of the shipping charge deducted from the credit.

If you are returning a gift, please let us know if you would like store credit or a refund to the credit card of the original purchaser.

"Free" gifts with purchase may not be returned for credit.

The Creativity Institute is not responsible for delays caused by extreme weather conditions or acts of nature.

SALES TAX
We are located in Louisiana and are required to collect 8% state sales tax on all orders shipped to the state of Louisiana. This will be automatically calculated at checkout. No other taxes apply. Back to Top

SHIPPING

Some of the items on our site ship from various locations and orders with multiple items may not ship at the same time and may arrive separately. You should receive your order within 7-12 business days for orders within the contiguous United States, except for those items whose descriptions indicate they may take longer.

We do not currently ship to Post Office Boxes or to APO/FPO addresses. Normal shipping rates do not apply for Alaska and Hawaii. For these destinations, please contact us at info@creativityinstitute.com for shipping costs and ordering instructions.

UNDELIVERABLE ADDRESSES
If an order is undeliverable because we were provided incorrect addresses, or where there is no mail receptacle or any other reason for being undeliverable, we will credit the amount of the merchandise back to your credit card but, unfortunately, must deduct the shipping charges. USPS, UPS or FedEx have guidelines for determining undeliverable status and will note it on the returned box itself. Undeliverable merchandise also includes any re-ships due to a customer not picking up a package after notification by USPS, UPS or FedEx, which causes package to be returned to us. If we are later instructed to ship to a different address, the second shipping amount will be charged to your credit card upon shipping for the second time.

FREE GROUND SHIPPING
Our "free shipping is included" policy applies to all orders. 
 
This offer is good only for regular ground shipping to destinations in the contiguous 48 states of the Continental United States. The free shipping policy does not cover rush shipping, although we always reduce any rush shipping charges by the amount of the regular ground shipping to that location, so you pay only the difference between ground shipping and rush shipping. For shipping rates outside of the Continental United States, please email us at info@creativityinstitute.com before placing your order, or call 312-330-2640.

Because The Creativity Institute absorbs the costs of shipping these items to you, returns of these items that initially qualified for free shipping will have the amount of the shipping charge deducted from the credit.
