Due to the popularity of our original adaptations of Aesop's Fables stories for the puppet stage, The Creativity Institute writers have developed new original "Gwynn's Fables" puppet show scripts in the same style. These are easy-to-read, easy-to-perform scripts, each of which communicates an important "moral" lesson to children.
The puppet show scripts in this package are all child-friendly stories. There is no violence and no one gets eaten. The four stories in this package are:
Gwynn's Fable "Just Say Thanks(Appreciation)" demonstrates how easy it is to take someone help for granted. Three parts. 3 to 4 minutes.
Gwynn's Fable "Ice Cream Day (Be Flexible)" demonstrates the importance of not being too picky. Four parts. 3 to 4 minutes.
Gwynn's Fable "You Can Do it (Determination)" demonstrates how focusing and working hard can provide the results you want, even at the last minute. Four parts. 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
Gwynn's Fable "Long Lines ( Patience)" shows how when one of the characters doesn't want to wait in long lunch lines, he misses out on what he really wanted, until he learns his lesson. Four parts. 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
Also included with these puppet show scripts is a set of puppet show stage directions that The Creativity Institute put together to help parents and children stage more professional and enjoyable puppet shows, such as tips on moving mouths (almost everybody does it backwards), simulating walking, etc.
