This Creativity Institute "At the Doctor's Office" puppet show includes a cast of five moving-arm hand puppets and an original puppet show script they can all perform together. The script has easy-to-read and easy-to-perform parts for five puppet characters. The structure of the script revolves around 25 different jokes that are all old standards, mostly one-liners. Some even originate in classic vaudeville routines. All are simple and elementary enough so that children can understand them and find them amusing. It's a fun puppet show for parties, scout meetings or just playing together, and a great way for children to entertain their parents!

NURSE PUPPET ENTERS FROM STAGE LEFT:
NURSE: Doctor, Doctor come quick. A patient in the lobby just swallowed my pen.
DOCTOR: I'll be right there.
NURSE: What should I do in the meantime?
DOCTOR: Use a pencil. NEXT!
NURSE PUPPET EXITS STAGE LEFT AS FARMER PUPPET ENTERS FROM STAGE LEFT:
FARMER: Doctor, Doctor, did you get the results of my test?
DOCTOR: Yes, I did. And I have some good news and some bad news.
FARMER: Give me the bad news first.
DOCTOR: The bad news is that you have short-term memory loss. The good news is that you don't have a broken leg.
FARMER: But do I have a broken leg?
The five puppets in the set include a PlushPups moving-arm Doctor, Nurse, Farmer, Teacher and Safety Worker hand puppet. These PlushPups hand puppets are surface washable, 11 inches tall.
This puppet show structure is simple to manage as one character at a time enters the stage to exchange lines with the doctor. The puppet show script set also includes some brief puppet stage directions with tips on ways to simulate walking, how to play to the audience and more.
