This Maple Landmark NameTrains collection is their most popular line. These 2-1/4" high, magnetic, wooden name train letters fit on Maple Landmark's NameTrain train track, as well as the wood track of Brio(c) and Thomas the Tank(c), along with many other companies. Maple Landmark NameTrains make a great unique personalized gift for a newborn baby, toddler, boy or girl. They even make great adult gifts for train fans and party favors! Please remember that these are for ages 3 and up so if purchasing for younger ages, they must be used for decoration only, until the child is older. Each letter of the alphabet comes in one of 6 different colors—red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. The engine is black. The caboose is red. Cars attach with magnets and can be assembled in any combination. Great for creative pretend play. Special note: If you are intending to match these with name train cars you already have, please be advised that Maple Landmark produced a previous line of natural letters that were larger than these. The two lines will connect with each other but they don't match well. The older line was about 3" high and was sold from 1988 to 2000. The current line, standing about 2-1/4" high, has been produced since 1993. The older letters are no longer available. This Maple Landmark NameTrains Alphabet Train set includes the wooden engine, caboose, and one each of all letters A-Z (28 cars total).
