Due to the popularity of our original adaptations of Aesop's Fables stories for the puppet stage, The Creativity Institute writers have developed new original "Gwynn's Fables" puppet show ideas in the same style. Each easy-to-read, easy-to-perform puppet show script communicates an important "moral" lesson to children. These are all child-friendly puppet shows. There is no violence and no one gets eaten.
"What a Pal!" (Fair Weather Friends) shows how the
Lion learns who his real friends are when he stops treating them to fun things
and he asks them for a favor.
This script has speaking parts for four puppets and an
off-stage narrator, but as three of the parts are brief one-line roles, two
actors and the narrator could do all the parts.
This puppet show length is approximately 2 1/2 - 3 minutes.
Also included with this puppet show script are
puppet show stage directions that The Creativity Institute put together to help parents and children stage more professional and enjoyable puppet shows, such as tips on moving mouths (almost everybody does it backwards), simulating walking, etc.
NOTE: THIS PUPPET SHOW SCRIPT WILL BE EMAILED AS PDF FILES. (THAT'S WHY SHIPPING IS FREE.)
